The Kenai Senior Center had their annual Meals on Wheels fundraising auction, NO SENIORS GO HUNGRY, on Friday, April 1. The funds raised are used to provide meals for seniors who do not qualify for Medicaid Waiver or cannot afford to purchase their meals otherwise.
The Kenai Regional office for Consumer Direct Alaska is proud to be an annual contributor to this event, providing a basket of goods for auction. This year the basket includes a Your Minder system (customizable to provide medication reminders or other important events), daily pill boxes, a lighted magnifying glass, an Alaska Consumer Direct carry bag, cooler bag, water bottle, and various other items.
Our contributions have always been a big hit in past years and we look forward to continuing our partnership with the local Senior Center to provide for seniors.
