Consumer Direct Care Network Alaska provides services and supports statewide that help individuals with disabilities and functional challenges remain safe, healthy and independent in their homes. Since 2001, we have specialized in solutions for those who choose to direct their own care or the care of their loved ones. Helping them maintain their independence is our priority. We are proud to offer the following services.
Chore Services
Chore services allow clients to reside in a safe and hygienic home. Chore services include cleaning living spaces, cooking meals, shopping and errands, laundry, changing linens, and seasonal tasks to ensure clients safe access to their homes.
Habilitative Services
Our habilitative services are designed to help individuals with developmental and related disabilities achieve maximum independence. We help individuals customize the habilitative services they receive so they can keep, learn, or improve the functional skills needed for everyday living. We offer in-home support, supported living, and day habilitation.
Personal Care Services
Personal care services provide support for activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and eating. This type of care also includes assistance with everyday tasks, known as instrumental activities of daily living. These tasks include meal preparation, shopping, laundry, and light housework.
Respite Services
Respite services provide relief to the primary caregiver while ensuring the client’s needs are met. Even the most dedicated caregivers need a break from time to time. Our respite services can assist with socialization and companionship, personal care, and support and supervision.
Respite care services are flexible too. They can be used on an as-needed basis. Whether the primary caregiver needs 24-hour relief or just a short break, respite care services can be catered to fit your needs.
